Newborn Blood

she feels nothing but fear, lonliness and despise!
Her world is falling apart bit by bit, she tastes the blood, dripping from her lip!
She escaped to a place that is no longer there,
it is dark and cold and no one seems to care.
She bangs her fist on the counter and then smacks her face, she wants to erase the pain and escape from this hurtful place.
Down on her knees she crawls into a ball,
the word is too much, she wants to end it all.
Sleepy is she 7 days a week,
no one to reach out, to hear her speak.
Shut her eyes and erase the pain,
she is nuts and sllowly going insane!
Crazy and depressed, she gets up to get dressed.
Taking a knife and cutting herself from head to toe,
her nakedness is covered with blood, then she sees the glow.
A white happy light that heals her pain, she is not going insane.
It fills her with love and the warmth that she needs,
she climbs the ladder, where there are clouds and not leaves.
She can't make the final step and is told to stay there.
The blood stops running out, she stands naked and bare.
Naked as a newborn, she must begin again,
to find love and happiness, within herself and not with men.
